Brand Summary :
Stache., a men's luxury grooming products company, balances the world between work and style. Stache.’s high quality ingredient, no feel mustache wax is the foundation of their brand, giving those with facial hair the power over their own style, and the ability to look fresh and sleek while working hard to bring home the dough.
Process
Ideation :
When deciding on which direction I wanted to go for this project I first started with the basics, ideation. I came up with some big zing words that describe the foundation of the brand, Stache., to help narrow down the type of look I wanted the logo / brand to have. Zing words chosen, Sleek, Modern, Professional, and Bold.
Research :
After the basic layout and ideation was complete I then had to research. I looked up different luxury men's grooming product companies and studied their logos and overall brand. Then I searched up different illustrations of men with mustaches to get inspiration for the logo.
Refining :
After sketches were complete I chose the one that worked best for the project's scope and refined it digitally in Adobe Illustrator. There I would continue tweaking until I was happy with the result. For the logo title I chose the font “Gelica, Semi Bold”, which I added to to create a more cohesive look between the logo icon and the lettering.
